Tip: View the crack from a 45° angle to check that the resin is filling the damage. Step 3. Apply the curing strips Once you’ve filled approximately the length of one curing strip, place a strip over the repaired section. Continue applying resin along the crack, covering each completed section with another curing strip. Slightly overlap each strip until the entire crack is covered. Step 4. Cure the resin in sunlight Once the crack is completely filled and covered, move your vehicle into direct sunlight. Leave the curing strips in place for approximately 5–10 minutes to allow the UV light to harden the resin. If the resin is still wet, reapply the strips and continue curing until completely hardened. Step 5. Remove excess resin Once cured, remove the strips and use the supplied razor blade to scrape away excess hardened resin.
